The Group

Kilmuckridge drama group reformed in 2008 and have staged productions on the three-act circuit every year since reforming. The group have reached the confined three act finals on many occasions during these years. Kilmuckridge drama group brought home the Clare Galway trophy for the first time in 2014 with their production of Conor McPhersons "The Weir". The following year the group reached the open finals for the first time with their production of "The Kings of the Kilburn High Road" by Jimmy Murphy. The Clare Galway trophy was brought back to Kilmuckridge for a second time in 2022 when the group were crowned All Ireland confined winners with their production of "The Playboy of the western World" by J.M Synge. In 2023 the group placed third in the All Ireland finals with their production of Sive. Last year the group performed “Juno and the Paycock” on the 3 act circuit.
